Senior designer for Schott NYC.
Since early 2008 became the Senior Designer for Schott NYC the almost 100 year old international brand that invented the motorcycle jacket.
Irving Schott designed and produced the first leather motorcycle jacket. Made in the USA, each Schott NYC jacket comes with a story that has been written over the course of 90 years, four generations of Schotts, two world wars, 22 presidents, one King, and an American love affair with hitting the open road with the wind in your face and your troubles behind you.
Schott is a true-blue, real-deal, piece of Americana.

JOE FARIS - Founder, President
Faris founded Faris Ltd. in 1999 as a platform to design and develop various projects. After designing a small private label collections for Al Wissam, 4Men and NEXT clothing stores, he launched Red Fly™ for Fall 2001 with just under 1 mil in sales on a very limited and handpicked distribution in three markets. Prior to Red Fly™, he is most recognized for his work with Pelle Pelle. He came into Pelle just after their limited introduction of denim sportswear and was instrumental in all areas of product development and product offering. The company continued to grow, to just under 100 mil during Faris tenure until 1999.
Prior to Pelle Pelle, Faris held posts at Ralph Lauren and Perry Ellis in the early 90’s, and Bugle Boy in the late 80’s, where he began gaining design and manufacturing experience right out of Parsons.
Goal:
